EQUIP THE
CHURCH,
IMPACT THE COMMUNITY

Inhabit Africa is an opportunity for Christian men and women to put into practice the simplest and most important commandment of Jesus: "Love the Lord your God, and love your neighbor as yourself." By living and working for a year in a poor community in East Africa , partnering with a local church, volunteering at a home for orphans, and spending time getting to know the community, you will impact the community. Participants will effectively impact the communities while catching a deeper vision for what the Kingdom of God is like.

"The Gospel is not a doctrinal formula for the salvation of the individual but is the Good News of God's movement through Jesus Christ to carry out his purpose for the entire human race. This Good News gets communicated not only in words but also in actions, not only through what we say and do but also through who we are."
René Padilla

Just imagine coming along side a family, an indigenous leader and a community for a year! Imagine making a difference in the lives of the poor, HIV/AIDS victims, orphans and widows, reaching to the unreached with the Gospel. Imagine giving "untouchable" children a future they could never dream of as they learn about the love of Jesus.

Now imagine growing deeper in your own faith and drawing closer to Jesus than you ever imagined.

You will serve alongside a team of dedicated indigenous leaders who are committed to reaching the poor and the lost in their communities. You will tutor, build, nurture, repair, encourage, assist, organize, teach, learn from, listen to, and pray with all kinds of people, all in the name and spirit of Jesus.
